The House – my thoughts and considerations

The regeneration of the House has become a reality. During the IV SZPARAGA Family Reunion we have chosen the Head of the Family and the Family Assembly what has become a pride and a joy for me. Our conception become real and imperishable.

At first I was only aiming at only recreating as precisely as possible the family tree of our House. With the feeling of duty bearing in my heart, through reconstructing the history of our family I have decided to pay tribute to all our ancestors and not to allow them to fall into oblivion. However, having taken part in our first reunion, I decided to think of something long lasting. I still can see the happiness of the members, remember words of appreciation and gratitude – especially of the elders; so I kept on further research and the pursuit of further objectives. I must admit that it gives me a lot of satisfaction and makes my life worth living. Gradually, with greater concern, I started thinking of the idea of building the House community uniting all the Sparaga’s.

Many positive aspects may be seen while analysing the reason for reconstruction of the House. We need constant superior ideas bringing order to our lives. Isn’t the remembrance of those who passed away the most crucial factor binding our families? This may be our most hidden need that we are not even aware of fighting for everyday needs. We may have lost something. Therefore, we have to show those values to our younger generation; teach them amour propre towards tradition, descendents and the family. The best way would be through your own example - to belong to great, organised family – the House, take part in reunions, be among the loved ones, who are happy and cordial.

Participating in creation of the family tree, learning about own identity we realize that we are no longer a simple living form in the universe. We gather new values becoming more mature and stronger. The House helps us to oppose ourselves to passing away and becomes the best proof for the continuation of our lives as those who are continuation of our ancestors’ lives.

I don’t think that we have reached most of the members with our idea of uniting the family. Everyone of us is responsible for becoming a part of the House, whether you do feel its part already or not. The awakening of the family identity is different for each one of us but I do believe that it is a process that will embrace all family members becoming the members of the House and will add to our lives something that people lack in the present world.
